New shops open in the Courtyard!

Dog Shop & Grooming Parlour

Many visitors will be familiar with Eddie’s dog shop. John and Danielle joined the park with a weekend stall selling dog treats in 2020 and it was so successful they’ve grown to a full-on bricks-and-mortar shop in the courtyard.

Eddie’s Dog Shop is open 7 days a week and if you have a dog in your life, Eddie’s Dog Shop needs to be in your little black book of PAWsome shops. They even sell ice cream for dogs and have a grooming parlour upstairs!

Gift and Lifestyle concept store

Award-winning @nor_store_london is the most recent business to join the other independent businesses in the Homestead Courtyard bringing with them a wide range of lovingly curated gifts and other items such as homeware, toys, books, greeting cards, candles, jewellery, baby clothes, Saltwater footwear, Roka bags and even Dry Robe gear.

Nor is must visit for a treat, a gift or just convenience! For example, they stock quality sand toys for the sandpit if you're caught short, and beautiful notepads and journals if you feel inspired.

The Homestead Courtyard

The Homestead Courtyard used to house Cator’s stables in the 18th century. It burnt down in 2011 and was brought to life in 2019 with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The space has been fully refurbished and, in the courtyard, you’ll find the two shops mentioned above, the Homestead Cafe, public toilets and the learning centre, managed by The Fields Studies Council.

The Homestead Cafe offer a wide range of food and beverage including ice cream, excellent coffee, homemade pastries and pizza and craft beer.

You’ll find music animating the courtyard on summer weekends, plus other events.

The businesses in the courtyard bring a buzz to the park and contribute to the community in many ways - as a hub for the community and through the organisation of events.

They are open all year round, catering for all your needs whatever the season.
