Ban on barbeques in the park due to prolonged hot dry conditions

Following advice from London Fire Brigade no barbeques are permitted anywhere in the park until further notice and may be extinguished without notice.

This is to protect the flora and fauna of the park and also to reduce the drain on resources of the Fire Brigade and water suppliers at this time.

This includes the designated BBQ area as well as the wider park which has a permant ban on barbeques anyway.

Please note that disposable barbeques are also permanently banned year round due to the environmental damage they cause.
