Miniature animal gardens

A workshop for children (aged 5-11 years) to get creative and make a miniature garden for animals of their choice.

The workshop will involve a walk to collect some natural materials to use to make the gardens. Then horticultural therapist Michelle Brandon will guide participants through the process of making the miniature garden, using natural and recycled materials.

Children are free to bring their own materials too and any animal figures that they want to include in their garden - dinosaurs, dogs, minibeasts, anything goes! (Note: we won’t be able to supply figures).

The gardens can be entered into our annual flower show on 31 July!

The workshop is free but must be booked here.
