Markets in the park this autumn and winter

Beckenham Place Park is a significant asset to the community. Not only is it a nature haven that nurtures biodiversity, as well as people’s mental and physical wellbeing and education, but its historical buildings also offer an opportunity to welcome small businesses.

One of Lewisham Council’s priorities as part of post-Covid-19 recovery is to support small businesses and the local economy. The response we get to markets in the park has been very positive. These are the markets you can expect to see in the park in October, November and December...

Thursdays mini market

The Homestead courtyard is such a hub of activity on any given day, and given the warm welcome received by Eddie’s dog treats shop we decided to invite two other traders to the courtyard on Thursdays until the 23rd of December.

A Piece of Kent

A Piece of Kent was started by Dorcas, a local resident, descendant from a long line of local residents, last summer. She curates a selection of products from local producers based in Kent only.
