Meet some of the team from Beckenham Place Park for a chat to find out more about the exciting improvements happening now in the Downham side of Beckenham Place Park. We’d love to hear from you too about what community activities, events and volunteering opportunities you’d like to be part of.  

Environmental charity, Thames21, is leading a programme of regular volunteering sessions and events that will give you the opportunity to get to know your Ravensbourne River and support the major works in the park and river improvements, with the aim to create a healthier river environment for people and wildlife. There is a variety of family friendly volunteering and training opportunities available to join now, including two monthly river conservation sessions and free NCFE accredited training in the Leading Action for Healthy Rivers course.
