What to expect
These concerts are designed to be informal, relaxed and fun. Everyone is welcome to the first open-air classical music festival in Beckenham Place Park, which is taking place in the Homestead Courtyard.
The players hail from London's top orchestras and chamber ensembles, including principal players from the London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, BBC Symphony, English Chamber and Aurora orchestras as well as the Academy of St Martin's in the Field and Sacconi String Quartet.
Free tickets for young people
Charity Cavatina has offered its support for this event. Their aim is 'to bring chamber music to young people and, and young people to chamber music'. They have pledged to cover the cost of up to 400 tickets, meaning children and young people aged 8 - 25 years old inclusive can attend completely free of charge. To book the free tickets, simply click on the link below to book tickets as per normal, and you will be asked questions about the patron’s age.
This is a fantastic opportunity for young people in Lewisham and wider London.
