Hiphopera EPIC Black History Month Celebration Day

A celebration of black culture and heritage. Free, all welcome.

Kids fair

Botton’s Family fairs bring their Halloween-themed kids fair for under 12-year-olds to BPP daily until 31 October, in front of the Mansion, 11am to 6pm. There will be treats, candy, pumpkins and more to entertain the children and their families.

Activity Club At the Lake

PTP will be running their usual kids’ activity club this October half term:

15th October – 31st October, 10am to midday.

7-16 year olds  can take part in some team-building games and have a go on a paddleboard (SUP), learn some techniques and make some new friends, all whilst having fun. This is run by one of PTP Coaching qualified instructors. Click here to book.

Swimming opening 7am-3pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday. 7.30am – 3pm on Saturday and 8am -3pm on Sunday. All swimmers must have completed a cold water induction to swim.

Sewing workshops

Learn new skills and take home a Halloween-themed craft you’ve made yourself!

Food and Farmers Market

Weekly market in front of the mansion, 10am-3pm. Bring a reusable back and stock up on produce from local farmers and producers. This half term, expect spooky treats! Fancy a Spider cake pop, anyone…?

There are always tradres offering world food, and you can also grab the usual pizzas, hot drinks and much more form the resident cafe and bars

Other free activities

From engaging story maps and trails to geocaching there are a number of nature-based free activities for families.
