Lake activity during term time

Now that the summer holidays are firmly behind us and we head into Autumn, the lake is dedicated mostly to individual swimming sessions. Other activity includes British Canoeing Discovery (children’s) Course, sessions for Home Education families and SUP yoga. At weekends you might see areas of the lake being used for parties, private groups, instruction and kids clubs.  

Term time opening hours

September

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7am to 2pm, 3pm to 7pm

Saturday 7:30am to 6pm

Sunday: 8am to 5pm 

October – April*: 

Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 7am to 4pm

Saturday - 7:30am - 4pm

Sunday - 8am - 4pm 

* Opening times will change again in the lead up to Christmas and there will be October half term activity clubs

Free swimming for volunteers

Lewisham based volunteers with a Lewisham Local card can swim free. There are a limited number of sessions and you will need to bring your Lewisham Local card and a letter from you organisation stating you’re a volunteer.
