Hospitality event cancelled

The Hospitality - in the Woods event scheduled for 17 and 18 September has been cancelled due to the impact of industrial action on ingress and egress. The events scheduled for 10 and 11 September are unaffected.

Statement from the event organiser

We are devastated to announce that as a result of the industrial action due to take place by RMT on Saturday 17th September, and its potential impact on the safety of our festival goers, Lewisham council have taken the decision to rescind our Event Permission for Hospitality Weekend In The Woods on the grounds of public and community safety.

As a result we must confirm that Hospitality Weekend In The Woods will no longer take place on Saturday September 17th and Sunday September 18th.

We are heartbroken to not be able to deliver this event, so close to what was due to be an amazing festival, owing to this situation which is out of our control. However the safety of our customers and local communities is at the heart of what we do, and we understand Lewisham Council’s position that there is no safe or viable way for thousands of fans to travel to and from this event with no public rail network running on the 17th Sept, and reduced services running on 18th Sept.

We would like to thank all our fans who were planning to join us for what would have been a brilliant weekend and we will do our best to answer any questions you may have.

We have instructed all our ticket providers to issue an automatic refund of the face value of all tickets. Please note refund booking processes and booking fee policies will vary between different ticket platforms - we encourage you to check the specifics with your chosen ticket provider.

EDIT:

RMT’s industrial action has since been revoked. However, this event will still not go ahead. Read more about the reason why.
