Who we are

The Field Studies Council (FSC) is a UK-wide environmental education charity with a network of existing residential and day centres, and a history of over 75 years of delivering outdoor learning opportunities.

What we offer

FSC London delivers primary and secondary school courses, using inspiring and exciting natural and built sites across the Capital City. Through working at a wide range of sites, we offer courses that suit your needs.

In partnership with London Borough of Lewisham, FSC London delivers education services in Beckenham Place Park. The Homestead Education Centre, with two classrooms, is in the 18th Century stable block and has easy access to sites across the Park. Our sites and classrooms are fully accessible, and sessions are delivered by experienced FSC Tutors, who are first aid trained and DBS checked.

Your benefits from booking with us

FSC London has been awarded the Quality Badge by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom for school groups. We achieved the badge by demonstrating that we consistently deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to school groups and manage risk effectively. This means that you do not have to assess them and therefore have to complete less paperwork for your local authority.
