Access to the park on 6 & 7 July

We are delighted to welcome the Taste of the Caribbean event and its visitors to Beckenham Place Park this weekend.

Information for Taste of the Caribbean ticket holders

Please see the event site map below. The areas marked in yellow indicate the best entrance to the park for this event and the entrance to the event zone by ticket holders:

The closest train station is Beckenham Hill. The 54 bus stops right outside the main park entrance as well. Both are only a few minutes walk to the event entrance

Start planning your journey to the event here. Car parking in the area is extremely limited, and enforcement officers will be handing out tickets to vehicles illegally parked so we strongly recommend not driving to the venue unless strictly necessary.

Notice for other park visitors

The Taste of the Caribbean event only uses a small portion of the park - see map above.

The park, resident businesses and other events will continue to operate as per usual.

Please refrain from driving to the venue if possible. Car parking in the area is very limited and there are multiple public transport options and cycling routes available - see travel information here.

Information for residents

The event starts at 10am and ends at 8pm. Residents within the immediate vicinity will have received a letter with information about the event, including rig and derig times. This is a family oriented food festival with some entertainment and low impact is expected in the local community. We hope you can come along and enjoy it!

For any queries about the event please contact the event organiser on info@tasteofcaribbeanuk.com.
