Join us on a 2 hour exploration of the park to learn about trees.
The park is full of thousands of magnificent trees. Some are ancient ones over 350 years old and some are tiny ones just 2 or 3 years old.
You'll learn how to identify which type of tree is which and have the chance to enjoy being close to these living, breathing features of our park.
The workshop is suitable for children aged 7 and over. Each child must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout. It is fine for one adult to supervise up to 3 children.
This is a free event but booking is essential - click here to book (bookings open 26 May).
The meeting location will be provided upon booking.
The Field Studies Council runs the environmental education centre in the park and one of their tutors will be leading this workshop. The event is funded by the Heritage Lottery.
