Due to the unseasonably hot weather forecast for the 10th and with animal welfare of paramount importance the decision has been made to postpone this event by one week and it will now take place on Sunday the 17th of September.
Please note, due to the change of date a small number advertised stall holders are now unable to attend.
The ever-popular dog show in Beckenham Place Park returns this September, now as a stand-alone event with plenty of entertainment on the day. Other than the dog show itself, there will be entertainment including.
Music in the homestead courtyard
Local stalls selling dog related and non dog related products
Charities and other community organisations, with an opportunity to learn about and support them, or even experience their service (more below)
Vast food and beverage offer - by the resident cafes and food market PLUS supplementary stalls at the dog show on the da
Temporary tattoo for dogs
Massage chair (for humans!), and Animals Aligned are doing free spinal checks on dogs
KHY Sewing School are having 3 stalls and some elements will be free
Lewisham Park FC will be there raising money for their kit by doing 'Beat The Goalie'

Please note, the dog show will not go ahead if temperatures exceed 26 degrees celsius due to animal welfare, as recommended by Lewisham Council’s animal welfare officers. The event will also be cancelled in case of severe weather warning. Please check Eddie’s Dog Shop social media for updates in case of extremely hot or windy weather.
The event is organised by Eddie’s dog shop & grooming parlour. You can find them 7 days a week in the homestead courtyard.
