River Festival

  • Beckenham Place Park Beckenham Hill Road BR3 1SY UK (map)

Join us for a day of celebrations in the improved Beckenham Place Park (BPP) East on Saturday 21st September, 11.00-16.00.

Bring a picnic and take part in free family-friendly activities throughout the day, to see the work that has taken place over the past year and learn about the finishing touches still to come and how you can get involved.

See the new park enhancements, enjoy the new playground by the park’s River Ravensbourne and find out about environmental changes to prevent future flooding in the Borough of Lewisham.

  • This drop in event is free and will not be ticketed.

  • Hosted by Beckenham Place Park and project partners; Thames21, Environment Agency, BDP Architects, T. Loughman Building & Civil Engineering Contractors and Lewisham Borough of London Regeneration team.

  • The day’s activities and timings will be confirmed and communicated in the Beckenham Place Park newsletter and on BPP Instagram here. Subscribe to the newsletter here to receive direct updates here to your inbox.
