Bat Walk

Join us for a magical walk as dusk settles in the park and (hopefully) the bats come out to feed. We will walk through different habitats - round the lake, through the woodland and in the open parkland - and will use bat detectors to 'hear' the bats as they fly by.

Volunteers from BCT will be on hand to lead the walk and provide information on the different types of bats we discover.

The bat detectors will be provided. You will just need to turn up in appropriate clothing for being outside and in sturdy footwear as some of the paths are uneven.

This event is free but booking is essential here. Dogs are not permitted on the bat walk.

The walk is kindly being run by the Bat Conservation Trust (BCT), a charity with a vision of a world rich in wildlife where bats and people thrive together.
